In the days right after delivery, many new moms report not feeling very hungry. Although this is very normal and should not interfere with milk production, it is important to continue trying to find snacks and healthy food choices to eat until your appetite returns to normal.
Breastfeeding mothers need to stay replenished with healthy snacks throughout the day to product rich, nutritious milk for their infants. It is important to balance your snacks with protein, vegetables and fruit to get all the nutrients you'll need to stay energized and satiated.
