My
Nursing Coach
is among the first to
provide innovative in-home
phototherapy with the
BiliBed® by
Medela. This unique
treatment is designed to
reduce or eliminate the need
for an infant to remain in
the hospital after the
mother is discharged.
My
Nursing Coach
makes a house-call to supply
the necessary equipment and
accessories, and educate the
parents on how to care for
the infant undergoing
phototherapy. Infants will
be seen daily by our
professional staff. Reports
will be provided to your
doctor’s office by
telephone, fax, email or
text – whichever method is
preferred.
With each follow-up visit,
your baby’s bilirubin level
will be measured with a
BiliCheck – transcutaneous
bilirubinometer. This
measures the course of
therapy without the need to
draw blood samples.
